Newegg Problem

Same thing happened to me. I was planning on finishing my HTPC build before Christmas, but now half the parts won't be delivered until 12/27. If Newegg is going to do this, Shoprunner needs to drop them from the program.

Same thing here, the shipping from Newegg is the regular 4-7 day UPS ground. I could have chosen free 3 day guaranteed (which from Newegg is always on time or early), but now I'm waiting 5 days on something which is advertised as 2-day shipping. Very disappointing.

Same here, I think they are assuming that if order is being shipped from a neighbouring state then it should just take 2 days to deliver by UPS ground but Shoprunner should not gamble with time when they tell thier customers that they are going to deliver in 2 days time for sure.

I'd like to know how to actually get free 2 day shipping, with this service. Because right now it's a complete scam.

Just ordered from newegg today, They better NOT send it UPS ground!
Nothing UPS does ground gets there in 2 days unless you pay for ups 2 day.

Per both newegg and shoprunner, if the packages are expected to arrive in 2 days via UPS Ground, they will ship it using UPS ground even if the customer is expecting actual 2 day shipping.

This is a HUGE disappointment and is a huge contrast from Amazon prime, where everything is almost always shipped UPS next day air saver, so you almost always receive it next day with 2 days being worst case.

Shoprunner/newegg takes a different approach and decides to ship it UPS ground in hopes that it will get there in two days, when the worst case is 3 to 5.

Completely ridiculous.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and Newegg offered me a $50 credit to resolve the case, I would have preferred that they change the policy which I think is misleading and wrong. Maybe if they get enough complaints they will. Just placed a new order with them with shoprunner shipping will be interesting to know how they ship. Will update.

UPS ground is ballpark if they say 2 day.
Only way to get REAL 2 day from UPS is 2 day AIR.
ShopRunner should tell the stores that they will pay for 2 day air and end of debate.
I'm thinking shoprunner is pretty much a scam at this point.
This is NOT amazon prime for sure!!

I might open a thread on the Newegg forums too, Newegg is a pretty solid company. I'm sure they would like to know if there are linking to a scam site too.

I was just logging in to look up this same thing. Our Newegg "2-day" order was sent UPS Ground with an estimated delivery of 3-4 days. It's ridiculous and a total scam if this is how they handle their two-day shipping!!

Yep they shipped my last order UPS Ground again and it wont arrive in 2 days (Again). It seems pretty solid that these are not isolated incidents. Someone is dropping the ball here. Either ShopRunner does not require them to ship via a 2 day method (which negates the whole point of ShopRunner) or Newegg is ignoring the requirement. Either way its the customers that suffer. I'm leaning towards dropping both of them and using Amazon and its prime service. They live up to what they say they are going to do unlike ShopRunner and Newegg.

Anyone having trouble getting ShopRunner to show up at all on NewEgg now? I don't see the sign in links anymore. I hope this can all be resolved soon. I will definitely miss ShopRunner on NewEgg if it is gone.

Ordered item from Newegg on Saturday 12/31 and it shipped on Monday 1/2 (which is OK).
It shipped UPS ground and is expected to be delivered by Thursday 1/5 end of day.

I ordered another item from Newegg on 1/2 (before I knew the expected arrival time of the first order) and it isn't showing on the UPS tracking website yet...

Please advise your question and we are happy to answer. Please also note this is a discussion board for anyone to post and members to exchange feedback and experiences. When specific questions for ShopRunner we jump in and try to address here or Member Services at 888 721 7467. In response to 2 day shipping, Newegg like all ShopRunner partners ship with free 2 day shipping (from the time the order is processed and ready to ship). Of course, there could be outlier cases, sometimes outside the control of all parties. The two day shipping works such that if your item is ready for shipment on Monday at 10:00AM then your item will arrive on Wednesday. Thank you.

ShopRunner is basically a scam. They charge a fee for 2 day shipping but many items bought are simply sent by the seller as they normally would, 3 day delivery. So ShopRunner is charging a fee for a service that they don't even provide. ShopRunner currently has 32 BBB complaints!

These are facts.

Stay away from this company... stay far away. I suspect that they won't be in busines for very long.

You mention 32 BBB complaints (technically 33). Of course every business including ShopRunner would like to have zero and that's always the goal, unfortunately literally impossible. You did not include in your post that all 33 complaints were closed, when all facts were presented cases closed. ShopRunner has grown into a business with many customer interactions, 33 complaints out of all the interactions is an excellent ratio not to mention for a new fast growing business. If ShopRunner with 33 complaints is how you described it, what you say about Amazon.com with over 1,300 complaints in the past 12 months or Target with over 1,000 complaints themselves in the past 12 months - you have to factor in the size of the business.
